why ferric chloride is used in bleeding clots than phosphoric ion??

according to Hardy weinberg rule.

the coagulative power of an electrolyte is directly proportional to its valency.

in the given case ferric chloride gives 3 ions where as phosphoric ion is a single ion.so obviously FeCl3 must be preferred.
