Friend !
Fertilization occurs in Ampulla because,
# The anatomy and physiology of the fallopian tube play an important role in egg transport and fertilization.
# It is within the highly ciliated portion of the oviduct that fertilization and early embryo development occur.
# The ampulla is most often also the site for ectopic implantation.

Hello friends,
The fertilization occurs in ampulla because it is the third region of the filopian tube. It is a round circular vessel that curves over the ovary. Human fertilization mostly occurs in the ampulla because it an intermediate dilated region of the Fallopian tube that acts as a shock absorbent for the growing baby.
I hope the above answer is satisfactory.
Thanks for asking.
