Explanation:

(a) Many plants and animals in India are endangered because of the greediness of human beings for their commercial value. ... (b) Deforestation on a wide scale destroys the habitat of animals and also leads to decline of the different species of trees and plants.

They are endangered because the people of India are uselessly killing them (animals) and wasting them (plants) without thinking...

Explanation:

Several plants and animals like the rhino, tigers, and specially the bird sparrow is not seen nowadays very often.

The reasons behind this is : • Senseless and thoughless killing of these animals

• Using these extinguishable resources a lot and even wasting them.

• Since the species are native only to our country...once they are finished they will be extinct for ever.

for eg: we have seen elephants being killed for tusks to make ivory...which is not at all good, and should be permanently diminished. Endangered and extinct species would disbalance the eco system , because of which life wouldn't be possible on earth.

Thankyou.
