Answer:

Currently Fiji is governed by a care-taker interim military based government. It is now called The Republic of the Fiji Islands starting from the point when the President of Fiji abrogate and wipe the 1997 Fiji Constitution out. The PER- Public Emergency Regulation keeps people away and to stop them practising their freedom of assembly, speech and communication. Fiji is a Republic not a Democratic country.
