shadow is formed when light strikes an opaque object but in case of flame which is itself a form of light since fire is a gaseous state it can not block the light hence as a result no shadow is formed when light strikes the flame.

HAVE A GOOD DAY.

AkshithaZayn: so, will light energy absorb light? please ellaborate your answer with further more details, yaar

Heya friend,

First of all, we have to know what shadow is,

> Basically, a shadow is an area which is less brighter than it's surroundings as something blocks the light from that area.
> A shadow is a darker area than the original source of light.

So, the reason why shadow is not being made by a flame is:

Being a source of light itself, the flame does not make shadow as there is nothing to block it's light and form shadow.

But, there are aslo cases when fir may have shadow as when there is an other source of light which is much more brighter than the source of light, the fire will have a partial shadow.

Otherwise, if it is the only source of light, there will be no formation of light.

Thank you!!!
Plz mark it as Brainilest.
