Why first 3 compound of alkanes doesn't show isomerism???

Structural isomers basically differ in their branching. So, in case of methane, an alkane with only one carbon atom there is no question of structural isomers (no carbon for branching).For the rest two i.e, ethane and propane if you try to find out different structures with branching it leads to the indistinguishable structure due to having symmetric in their structures.
