due to Himalayan region the Himalaya region is known for its snow and worlds 2nd highest in hilly region so when snow goes melt the water lvl increases and the least drainage system causes flood in n india

THIS IS BECAUSE IN INDIAN SUBCONTINENT THE SOUTHERN PART ARE COVERED BY OCEANS AND SEA

AND NORTHERN PART ARE COVERED BY MOUNTAINS AND RIVERS .

DUE TO THIS IN SOUTHERN PART THE WATER WHICH LEADS TO FLOOD ARE MOVED TOWARDS OCEANS

WHICH DECREASES THE RATE OF HAPPENING OF FLOOD . SIMILARLY IN NORTHERN PART DUE TO OVERFLOWING OF RIVERS AND BLOCKING OF MOUNTAINS INCREASES THE RATE OF HAPPENING OF FLOODING.

HOPE IT IS HELP FULL IF YES PLEASE MARK AS BRAINLIEST
