HELLO FRIENDS,
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
In nature fluorine gas more reactive than chlorine gas because due to size of its atom. since size of atom of flourine is smaller outer shell is closer to the nucleus and due to smaller size if a new electrom come near to this atom nucleus will attract fastly.

Best of luck ;)

1. Fluorine has the electronic configuration

( 2, 7 ).

2. It requires only one electron to complete the octet.

3. The atomic size of fluorine is the smallest among the halogens.

4. Hence, the nuclear attraction on the outermost electrons is maximum.

Hence, fluorine is the most reactive among the halogens.

Hope it helps!
