Answer:

Explanation:

The reason why food gets spoilt is because of the presence of bacteria, fungi etc.Food in a refrigerator does not get spoilt because bacteria and other various micro-organisms tend to thrive in moist and humid climate i.e micro-organisms require a hot and humid to grow and propagate.Since the temperature in the refrigerator is low it does not provide the favourable temperature for the bacteria to grow.Even though the air is cold in the refrigerator it is dry, this eliminates moisture. The food does not get spoilt in a refrigerator because the micro-organisms do not have favourable conditions they require for growth.
