We know farmers grow food for us. In a heavily populated country, the grains and raw food materials are very important for storing because different food materials geow in different seasons. It is not necessary that we will get mangoes all round the year, but still we get frooti/ mango juices in packed bottles/ cans everyday in the year. Food is stored and packed properly so that:

• Different pests should not attack them.
• They should not be affected by moisture.
• They should not lose nutrients.
• They shouldn't be affected by microbes.
• They should be available for a long time when kept with proper storage and stock
