Why Foreign travellers have always been fascinated by India. Earlier they used to interact with people and joined them in their customs and celebrations. Today, they seem to be rather reserved and do not mix with people. Why is it so? How can this be corrected?

Mahatma Gandhi wrote many books in his lifetime, but perhaps the very first one was a short Guide to London. He started working on it soon after his return to India when, as he explains, he was so flooded with queries about his experiences while travelling abroad that “I have been sometimes literally bored”.
The book was never published by itself but made it into Gandhi’s collected works after Pyarelal, his assistant and biographer discovered a copy in a stack of papers at the Sabarmati Ashram.
