A forest is an area on land forming an ecosystem.forests include living organisms like wild animals,trees,shrubs etc
1.forests preserve the water cycle(transpiration)
2.maintenance of temperature and oxygen levels
3.prevention of global warming
4.rich source of wood
5.prevention of soil erosion
by these reasons forests are known as our lifeline

Forest is our lifeline as: 1. It provides habitat to wildlife. 2. It provides wood for furniture, fruits, fodder and gum , etc. 3. They bring rain. 4. They present scenic beauty. 5. They prevent global warming, soil erosion etc. 6.They maintain eco balance of nature . Hope I helped u...:-)
