Why formation of chloroform from methane and chlorine is an example of substitution reaction?

CH2Cl2+ Cl2=CHCl3+ HCl

(Chloroform)

CHCl3+Cl2=CCl3+ HCl

By these above reaction we conclude that the reaction doesn't stop at once substitution it continues till all hydrogen ions from the organic compound is replaced by Cl...

Thus ,by substituting the hydrogen from chlorine twice it results in the formation of chloroform...so it is an example of substitution reaction...
