Why formic acid is less acidic than benzoic acid acid?

Answer: Benzoic acid is more acidic than formic acid because when H⁺ ion is removed from both we observe that benzoic acid has benzene ring which is resonance stablized + it has COO which is also in resonance thus, Due to resonace the stability of the benzoic acid is more than formic acid and easily give H⁺ ion as compared to Formic acid.
