Why fossils found in fold mountains

Fold mountains are formed due to folding(compression force of plates) of geo-synclines which contains marine sediments, fossils etc brought down by rivers or any other way. For example collision of Eurasia plate and India plate causes formation of Himalaya. Tethys sea between plates turned into geo-syncline and further compression causes formation of Himalaya.

Reason for why fossils are found in fold mountains:-

When the sediments deposited nearby the mountains are pressurised, they eventually transform into rocks. Later on, these sedimentary rocks are prone to horizontal pressure from either side and they crumble up and form fold mountains. Thus the fold mountains composed of such sedimentary rocks have fossils embedded in them.
