Answer:

Hey buddy...

Frogs do not have ribs nor a diaphragm, which in humans helps serve in expand the chest and thereby decreasing the pressure in the lungs allowing outside air to flow in. In order to draw air into its mouth the frog lowers the floor of its mouth, which causes the throat to expand.

Hope u understand.. ❤✌

Reasons, why frogs have incomplete ventilation, are:

  • In frogs, respiration can take place through various mediums. When they are in the stage of tadpole respiration takes place through the gills when once they get mature respiration occurs through the lungs and skin.
  • In the case of other mammals, they rely only on continuous lugs ventilation but frogs only breathe through lungs when needed.
  • The frogs lack a diaphragm and ribs which generally regulate the pressure in their lungs, therefore, frogs use their nostrils throat, and mouth three together to expel the gases.
  • During ventilation, frogs fill their buccal cavity with air then pass to the pulmonary and finally close the nostrils then pumping the buccal contents into the lungs.
