For the mendelian theory of heredity we came to know the characteristics of mono-hybrid cross and di-hybrid cross among several species and their genetic changes.
Mendel had chosen pea plants for his experimental works because;
1)pea plants don't need excessive care
2)it grows within few weeks
3)it has many opposite pairs of genetical features (eg.colour,texture,height etc.)
