The first round table conference was conducted as per report of Simon commission,1930. It was held at house of lords of London between November 1930-January 1931 by the British king, George (v) and British PM, Ramsay McDonald .The INC , Gandhi ji, business leaders and prominent political parties were arrested and lodged into the jail in case of organising civil disobedience movement
