why ganga river does not gives a normal tills?

it is the river which is considered to be the purest. but in real, humans are putting wastes, so, pollution also happens. so, river doesn't gives a normal stills.

people philosophy is that it is most pure river which we called pavitra but in that pure river we see many waste which pollute the river people bath in that , throw waste.etc so it help to increse pollution which we don't want
