Liquid & gases have low density than solids.
Liquid has comparatively high density than gases because its particles are still quite close together but the particles of gases are far apart from one another that's why gases have the lowest density.

it's quite easy ... as we know the intermolecular space of gases is more than liquids and solids ... so it means that it can be compressed easily ...and its density is also less... the same reason goes for liquids although it is denser than gases as it's intermolecular space is also less.so it is denser....
