Why gas does not have any shape and volume?

Because they are fluid and there isn't any intermollecular force of attraction b/t them

Gases don't jave shape and volume because their particles posses kinetic energy and thus the particles are able to move apart from each other.since,they move apart from each other,intermolecular force of attraction between molecules of gas becomes almost negligible. thus,the intermolecular space between particles increase to the maximum and thus the particles do not remain in their fix position. So,they dont have shape or volume.
