GASES ARE HIGHLY COMPRESSIBLE THAN LIQUIDS.BUT LIQUIDS CAN ALSO BE COMPRESSED.GASES CAN BE COMPRESSED HIGHLY BCOZ THEY ARE HAVING LARGER INTER PARTICULAR SPACE BETWEEN THE PARTICLES AND THESE CAN EASILY DIFFUSE SOMETHING. AND THE MOLECULES ARE FAR APART AND MOVE AROUND ALOT.AND THOSE PARTICLES WONT BE STICKING EACH OTHER TOO.THESE ARE THE REASONS FOR GASES ARE EASILY COMPRESSED THAN LIQUIDS.

Gas is more compressible than liquids because in gases the molecular force of attraction between particles is almost negligible and the intermolecular spaces are negligible. So if we force a gas into another the particles will not get attracted and they will flow in any direction they want.
