Why gases are highly compressible ?

Gases are highly compressible because they are less dense than other states of matter. It's intermolecular force of attraction is less and it has more space between the molecules. Therefore, it is easy to compress the gas.

HI FRIEND...

gases are highly compressible because they are very loosely packed. in this molecules have spaces between them....and because of these space , it is easy to compress the gas into a smaller space....
