The molecules in gases are far apart from each other due to negligible forces of attraction between them. Thus, gases have very low densities and hence they have maximum rate of diffusion among solids, liquids and gases. because gases have high intermolecular space . So, gases diffuse very fastly.

Answer:

In gases, the movement of the molecules are too fast compared to the other states of matter as in gases lots of intermollecular spaces are vacant.

Explanation:

So, the other gas molecules can easily get mixed due to the huge spaces and diffusion occurs at a faster rate due to their speed.

Hope u get it.
