GEAR SYSTEM IN BIKE IS BECAUSE IT REDUCES THE LOAD ON ENGINE OF BIKE.

gear system is used in bikes because the a bike runs on a wheel so we know gear mechanism also works on the same theory so gear system is used in bikes.
