Glass is supercooled liquid because it does not form crystalline structure instead it forms amorphous solid that allows it to move inside the glass and hence you will find glasses are thicker at the bottom than at the edges.

Hey !!
We know that, Glass is an Amorphous solid. Like liquids, it has a tendency to flow, though very slowly. This is evident from the fact that the glass panes in the windows of old buildings are invariably found to be slightly thicker at the bottom than at the top. This is because the glass flows down very slowly and makes the bottom portion slightly thicker.
Hope it helps you !!
