Why Gibbs free energy must be negative for spontaneous reaction? What is a spontaneous reaction? [Electro-Chemistry]

SPONTANEOUS REACTION

A SPONTANEOUS REACTION is one that releases FREE ENERGY , and so the sign of G must be negative.

When H is positive and S is negative , the sign of G is always positive ,and the REACTION can never be SPONTANEOUS .

This correspondence to both driving forces working against product formation .
