why glacier are not found in surrondings?

glaciers are small moving mass of ice. the need cool climate to form. but our region is hot, so we wont find it here.

  • Slow moving of mass of ice is called glacier.

  • In very cold region like the Himalayas or the Alps it snows heavily they get snowfall instead of rainfall.

  • This snow accumulates and harden into ice.

  • As we are living in Deccan plateau area and it is near to equator we got only heat , snowcapped Himalayas are so far from our region.

  • That's is why we don't find glacier in our surroundings.
