Why glass is thick on bottom in old buildings

Due to regular heat and rain which was absorbed by glass it starts to melt. That's why we see glass of old buildings were thick on bottom side. Glass become melt because they are pseudo solids. In real they are not solid. They become solid due to abrupt cooling off a liquid.

Glass special in old buildings are found to be thicker from bottom and this provides evidence that glass flows over a considerable period of time such glass had been found thinner side down or thicker on either side of windows edge the result of carelessness during installation
