Non-Biodegradable .

Such substances which can't be decomposed naturally by the action of Naturally occuring agents like microbes, works etc. or by any natural phenomenon are termed as Non - biodegradable waste .

As the Substances like Metal , glass , plastics can Never be decomposed by action of Bacteria or any microorganisms under the soil and can Never be destroyed by any natural phenomenon occuring under the soil.Hence by definition we classify them as a non - biodegradable wastes.
