why graphite is used not for making wire

Heya guys ........hey we all know that Graphite is good conducter of heat and electricity...... but
graphite is used not for making wire...
becoj .......
that is not flexible and not malleable and its show the property of brittle (broken into small pieces)
any many more reason is also ......

graphite can not used  for making wire
as it conduct electricity but it has no 
ductility property so it is not used for 
making wires.
