Why gravitational force is called universal force. There are four fundamental forces existing in the universe so called universal forces. They are the strong nuclear force, the weak nuclear force, the electromagnetic forceand the gravitational force.

In 1686 Newton started that in the universe each particle of matter attracts each other particle this universal attractive force is called gravitation so gravitational force is also called universal force
