why gravity is maximum on the surface of Earth

Gravitational force is a mere force between two objects, so as u know the formula for it is:---
GMm/d^2
So as the distance from the centre decrease the gravity increase because distance is inversely proportional to the gravity.

it depends on the zones and the altitude but it is strongest at the surface because it gains force as it oasses through yhe seismic plates
