Gravity is very strong in black holes because it is made when two neutron stars of huge masses collide. Due to collision, they form a single body which is of huge mass. We know that an object of huge mass has a very strong gravitational attraction. So, black holes have a very strong gravity.

(Gravity becomes useless when objects of small mass is involved in it.)
