Tidal power, also called tidal energy, is a form of hydropower that converts the energy of tides into useful forms of power – mainly electricity.The flow of water generates enough power to turn the turbines, which creates electricity. The entire process repeats with each high tide. so basically we require tides to convert them to energy and kerala and gujarat are in the coastal areas therefore they have great potential to generate tidal energy.
