Why H20 is a liquid whereas H2S is gas at room temperature

Hence, H2O has more intermolecular attractions compared to H2S and hence, H2O is a liquid while H2S is a gas at room temperature. In water hydrogen bonding is responsible for the association of molecules, in turn to abnormally high boiling point. Hence H20 is liquid.
