Hamid used to live with his grandparents. He felt sorry for his grandmother as she would burn her hands while making chapattis.
Hamid was ridiculed by his friends for buying tongs from the fair whereas all his other friends used their money to buy sweets and toys.
Hamid bought those tongs so that his grandmother would not have to burn her hands again while making chappatis.
