It is also known as External memory/Storage memory/Auxiliary memory/Backup memory. ... Secondary memory is not directly accessible to CPU. It is usually slower for read/write, cheaper and used in larger storage capacity. Example: Hard disk, CD, DVD, Pen drive, etc.
