Hormones help you to integrate organ systems. It is done through hormone specific receptors located on the surface and within the cells. The hormones become like a conductor to an orchestra. Your body becomes a symphony. Without our hormones life would be without music in a sense. All I am saying is that hormones are extremely important to have normal biochemical reactions in our cells. When our cell functions are normal, this translates into an enjoyable life.
