The government has banned the use of polythene bags because -

• The polythene bags are made out of non-biodegradable plastic materials. The waste material processing of these plastic materials is very difficult and that's why the unprocessed plastic waste materials are becoming a reason for serious land pollution.

• The plastic bags are waterproof and that's why these bags are creating blockage in the drainage system which is ruining our lives in many ways.

• The innocent animals (ie. Cat,Dog,Cow) often eat plastic bags along with the food materials and face serious health problems.(Plastic cannot be digested.)

And many more.
