india stands for democracy too that means peoples power
multi party system means more party can compete to govern the country that mean elections participants are no single
so if there is only party contesting in elections then people must vote that party only so democracy will be lost (if you like my answer then brainlist thank and rate ;-)

India adopted a multi party system because in a democracy the person has right to choose his party so there should be a variety of party to be chosen by people so there is multi party system
