This is because our left eye sees more of the left side of the object and right eye sees more of the right side of the object . The impression of the two images mix in our brain to have an idea of solidity and distance of single object . That is why nature has provided us two eyes instead of one .

We have been provided with two eyes as they provide wider field of vision. It also helps out to make us figure out the distance and provide more accuracy compared to the case if, we had only one eye.
