The agricultural sector is going through structural changes and is loosing importance and therefore since many of the rural and poor people are in agriculture, they tend to be adversely effected. 3.The development process hasn't come around all over. 4. There is still wide spread un-employment. 5. With growth there is usually inflation and inflation reduces the real income levels of the economy. 6. The environment is effected. 7. The poor do not have any representatives to influence the economic polices and bring about the changes needed by them. 8.There is stll wide spread disparities in literacy, health care and life expectancy.
