On an average, every candidate who contested the last Lok Sabha elections owned a property of more than a crore. So, there is a fear that only wealthy people or those with their support can afford to fight elections. Most of the political parties are dependent on money given by business tycoons. The main worry is that poor do not have voice in democracy .

Hey, here's your answer.....
Due to political funding, there's a fear that only wealthy people can contest elections. While the poor or the middle class people can't. So, they have no say in the democratic system. Nowadays, most of the political parties are dependent on the money given to them by the business class. Moreover, even criminals fund the parties. And thus they have a greater say in the policies of the government, which is harmful.
Hope this helps .....
