Normally, the IWD (International Women's Day) is celebrated on 8th march. Even this day is also celebrated after women gained suffrage in Soviet Russia in 1917, March 8 and it became a national holiday.
Even the day was then predominantly celebrated by the socialist movement as well as the communist countries until it was adopted in 1975 by the United Nations. 1975 was considered as the International Women's Year.
