Tigers population has falling down as many hunters were killing the tigers for their skin, bones, meat, claws, teeth and many more to make  decor and non-financial bribes, tonic, 'Wine' and 'Glue', sold as luxury items and in medicines said to cure rheumatism and prolong life  luxury food talismans and jewellery and many more things.

When the population was near to end because of these hunters.

But when the government saw that the tiger population, they decided to protect tigers. So they declared 29 July as " Global Tigers Day " in 2010 and this day is celebrated each year.

(Actually I don't want to scare u but this is true.)
