There has been a shift from primary sector to the secondary sector as we know from the definition that that the primary sector includes the extraction of raw materials while secondary sector includes the processing of the same raw materials. And until and unless the secondary sector won't be developed for the primary sector than the raw materials that is extracted from primary sector would not come into use to the consumers and hence the consumers won't be able to consume the product that they want. Also with the growing demand of people it also leads to the development of the nation and the sectors of the economy.
