The constant improvement of the microscopes have resulted in the revisions in the cell theory because with each improvement some new detail about the cell structure is revealed by the microscopes. These new improvements led to the change sin the cell theory. The advanced microscopes helps in the visualization of the more minute structures in comparison to the previous less advanced microscopes.

Hence, the revelation of new information about the cell structures by the improved microscopes is the reason behind the revisions in cell theory.
