Kerala’s tourism figures have grown because Kerala focused on domestic tourists in addition to the international tourists. The Kerala tourism department separated by the international and domestic tourists and allocated the resources accordingly.

EXPLANATION:

Kerala expanded its growth in tourism department by focusing the non-metro cities all over India. This move draws many domestic tourists as it allotted 40 percent of resources to domestic tourists. Many partnerships were made in cities all over India by the Kerala tourism development corporation. Whereas other states in India are mainly focusing on the same old, uncertain international tourists because of which they remain static.
