The participation of women in legislative bodies have been very low because The political cabinet in India is mainly dominated by male ministers. There are few female ministers in the cabinet. Even though women become the Prime Minister or Chief Minister her cabinet is male- dominated.More female ministers must be present in the cabinet so that they can represent various women related issues and work for their development.
